Law Year Church Service

To all who attended the Law Year Church Service on Monday at St John’s Cathedral, thank you.
Readings:
Isaiah 11: 1-9 and Luke 4: 16-30.
The Opening by the Chief Justice:
At the beginning of the legal year, we gather to renew our committment to the service of the Crown and to all manner of people that we may, together, do right. We acknowledge a shared high calling, a common committment to justice that all can recognise, done without fear or favour, affection or ill will. So we seek God’s strength and guidance that we might remain true to our calling, informed, wise and just.
